1965 Exploration of the Moon by Franklyn Branley / The Scientific Book Club / Excellent Pre-Moon Landing, Space Race Era Study / Illustrated

In good condition here is an excellent pre-moon landing, space-race era hardback copy of Exploration of the Moon by Franklyn M Branley. Also looks at the possibility of colonization. Published in 1965 by The Scientific Book Club. Richly illustrated in black and white and with an eye-catching vintage dust wrapper.

Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound. With a fair amount of spotting to the closed outside edges. Has a name on the front free endpaper dated 1991, but no other writing or markings of previous ownership. Illustrated with some super black and white photos and diagrams (see photos).

In the original price-clipped dust wrapper with artwork designed by Eric Fraser. This has a couple of tears down from the top edge and one up from the bottom that have previously been reinforced on the reverse side with tape. With a surface scratch in the middle of the front of the jacket. The colours have remained lovely and bright. With a few faint dark marks to the back of the jacket. The jacket has now been preserved for the future by the addition of a removable archival plastic sleeve.
