1962 Aesop's Fables / Adam & Charles Black, London / 8 Colour Plates by Charles Folkard / With Dust Jacket / In Good Condition

Here is a lovely vintage edition of Aesop's Fables. With eight colour plates by Charles Folkard plus black and white line drawings and illustrated headers. Published in 1956 by Adam and Charles Black, London. With the original dust jacket. The book is in excellent condition, with a bit of wear to the edges of the dust wrapper.

Inside the pages are in good condition being clean, bright and tightly bound with no writing or inscriptions. 

The super illustrated unclipped dust jacket has kept a good colour. Has some loss to the top of the spine (see photo 2). Has a little chipping to the bottom of the spine. With a small closed tear to the top edge on the rear of the jacket and a little wear at the corners. Overall a lovely, decorative jacket.
