1961 1st Edition, 3rd Impression - The Last Battle by CS Lewis

In excellent condition here is a first edition (third impression) copy of The Last Battle by C.S. Lewis. The seventh book in The Chronicles of Narnia. The last in the series by publication date, and in the internal Narnian chronology. The very first edition was published in 1956, with this copy being from 1961. Illustrated, and still has the original dust jacket - also excellent. Condition in detail below.

Very hard to find in such good condition.

Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound, with no writing or other markings of previous ownership. Light tanning and spotting to the closed outside edges. Has many delightful line drawings by Pauline Baynes.

In the original unclipped dust wrapper. (Being the correct jacket for the book, as stated third impression on bottom of inner flap). In superb condition. With just a couple of tiny closed nicks on the back top edge, and mild tanning to the spine - but minor. The scarce jacket has now been protected for the future by the addition of a removable plastic sleeve.
