1949 The Dragonflies of the British Isles by Cynthia Longfield / Warne, London / Scarce Dust Wrapper / Richly Illustrated / Good Condition

In very good condition, here is a lovely vintage copy of The Dragonflies of the British Isles by Cynthia Longfield. Published in 1949 by Frederick Warne & Co., Ltd of London. With 340 illustrations including 31 colour plates, plus numerous photos, text illustrations and wing maps. 

The pages are clean and tightly bound, with brown speckled edges as published. Has an inscription at the top of the front free endpaper but no other writing or markings of previous ownership. All of the super illustrated plates are in excellent condition.

Olive green boards are in fantastic condition, having been well protected by the dust wrapper. 

The unclipped dust jacket itself is also in top order. With just a little edge wear creasing.
