1947 Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen - Vintage Book

In absolutely excellent condition, here is a super vintage copy of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice from 1947 published by Roger Ingram of London. This edition was produced to library quality standards. It was meant to be a long-lasting edition that could go into a library to be read many times. This copy has never been inside a library and - having been privately owned - it has survived exceedingly well. Bright pages and dust jacket. Just some slight edge-wear to the wrapper being the only condition point to note. More details below.

Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound with no writing or markings of previous ownership. The top closed edge is tinted deep pink to match the jacket. An unillustrated edition.

The charming, clipped dust jacket is also in top order. With just some rubbing to the corners/spine ends, and a couple of small nicks to the front edges - but minor. It has retained a good strong colour, being un-faded and is very eye-catching indeed!
