1927 First Edition - The Book of the Flower Fairies by Cicely Mary Barker

Those of you that know me will know that this is quite simply one of my favourite books. Here is a lovely vintage hardback copy of The Book of Flower Fairies, Poems and Pictures by Cicely Mary Barker. Undated but would have been published in 1927 by Blackie & Son Ltd of London. With seventy-two stunning colour plates.

Tanning and spotting to endpapers and scattered spotting through the text. The occasional small mark/blemish. Tanning and spotting also to closed outside edges. Inked inscription to the front free endpaper (partially obscured for data protection). All of the colour plates are present and in good condition.

In green cloth covered boards with gilt decoration and titles to the front and spine. A few very faint white marks to the front. Slight rubbing to corners and spine ends. A clean, tight and square copy.
