In very good condition, here is an antique copy of Jane Austen by Francis Warre Cornish. A first edition, published in 1913 by Macmillan & Co., London. Part of their ironically titled "English Men of Letters" series. Has a short chronology and a genealogical table.

Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound with no writing or markings of previous ownership. Mild spotting and tanning to the endpapers. Unillustrated. Top closed edge is gilt.

Bright red cloth over boards, with gilt titles and decoration to the spine. Boards are clean and smart. Slight sunning to the spine - but minor.
