A large format hardback. With tanning and spotting to the first and last few pages, otherwise clean and tightly bound. A few folded top corners at the end of the book. Has an inked name on the front free endpaper but no other writing or markings of previous ownership. All sixteen colour plates are present, and all in top order. The tissue-guards have the herbs referenced opposite in their locations in the illustrations (see photos).
In attractive purple cloth over boards with gilt lettering and a charming illustration of a coriander plant in flower. In excellent condition. The cloth is clean and un-faded, and the gilt titles shiny bright.
