In good condition, here is a beautiful, richly illustrated antique hardback. 1911 Alpine Flowers and Rock Gardens Illustrated in Colour by Walter Wright. Published in 1911 by Headley Brothers, London. With thirty-six superb colour plates, and fifteen in black and white.

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound. The main condition point to note with this copy is tanning and spotting to the endpapers and throughout the text (see photos). Has some light tanning and toning around the closed outside edges. With a lovely bookplate on the front paste down, otherwise this copy has not been written in, and all the super plates are in top order. They have tissue-guards. With a small nick and crease to the bottom of the frontispiece tissue-guard. 

Olive-green cloth covered boards have pale blue and black decoration to the front and spine, and gilt titles. Again all in very good order. The rear board bows inwards slightly. With some rounding to the corners and a small bump to the bottom front. Clean, smart and with shiny gilt titles.
