1900s Poems of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow / Walter Scott Publishing, London / Lovely Vellum Decorative Binding / Good Condition

With a lovely vellum decorative spine, here is a very attractive pocket-sized hardback edition of Poems of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Published by The Walter Scott Publishing Co., Ltd, London and undated but would have been published in the early 1900s. In good condition.

Contains: Early Poems, Ballads, Voices of the Night, Miscellaneous Poems, Poems of Slavery, Songs, Evangeline, Birds of Passage, The Song of Hiawatha, The Courtship of Miles Standish, Tales of a Wayside Inn.

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound. With some tanning to the endpapers, light spotting to the edges and one small ink spot near the end of the book. Has an inscription on the front free endpaper (see photos), but no other writing or markings of previous ownership. Gilt edged along the top (with a few light scuffs). Has a black and white portrait frontispiece, else unillustrated. 

With lovely ornate gilt work on the spine, and blue cloth sides. All in very good order with just a little rubbing at the corner tips and to the leather title plate.
