1898 Julius Caesar, Coriolanus, Antony & Cleopatra by William Shakespeare - Antique Pocket Book

In excellent condition, here is an antique pocket-sized copy of The Works of William Shakespeare. Published in 1898 by Frederick Warne & Co., London in their series know as The Bedford Edition. Even though this copy is 128 years old, it has never been read. The majority of the pages remain uncut.

Contains: Coriolanus; Julius Caesar plus Antony & Cleopatra. 

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound, with no inscriptions or markings of previous ownership. Opens onto gorgeous gilt leaf decorative endpapers. The top edge is gilt, the fore-edge has some spotting.

In a grey moiré silk binding with cream cloth spine. Again in top order. Has ornate gilt decoration to the front and spine. A little rubbing/scuffing to the back - but minor. The spine has tanned just a little. A very attractive copy.
