In very good condition, here is an antique copy of The Iliad of Homer Translated by Alexander Pope. Published in 1845 by G Routledge, London. A thick, pocket-sized hardback in a full red leather binding with gilt tooling. A lovely book. Condition in detail below.

Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound. No inscriptions or markings of previous ownership. Has an engraved frontispiece and title page. These have some tanning and spotting (see photos). Else unillustrated. All edges are shiny gilt.

The red leather has some rubbing around the outside edges and to spine ends/joints. Otherwise in top order, with shiny bright gilt decoration on all sides.
