In good condition, here is a charming antique set of The Works of Robert Burns in Five Volumes. Published in 1837 by Archibald Fullarton & Co., Glasgow. Slightly larger than pocket-sized, with leather spines, marbled edges and endpapers, and photogravure illustrated frontispieces and title pages in each book. These books are over 185 years old and so have fared very well.

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound. With some light spotting scattered through the texts and some folded down corners. With the lovely illustrated frontispieces and title pages, else unillustrated.

In a brown leather binding with brown cloth sides. Has some rubbing and surface peeling of the leather to the corner pieces. The spines have five raised bands and gilt titles. With some rubbing to the spine ends and the odd scuff.
