Nancy Mitford Folio Society Set: The Pursuit of Love, Love in a Cold Climate

I absolutely adore these versions of Nancy Mitford's classic 1940s novels The Pursuit of Love and Love in a Cold Climate. Published here in 1991 and 1992 by The Folio Society of London to their usual high quality standards, bound in wonderfully illustrated cloth. Artwork throughout by Roland Pym who also designed the boards. In excellent condition.

The contents, printed on Beverley Antique Wove paper and Claudius Antique Wove paper are bright, clean and tightly bound with no writing or marks. The light-hearted illustrations perfectly depict the era and tone of the novels (see photos).

The colourful illustrated cloth covered boards are also in top order, having kept bright colours. With decoration on the front and back.

Both books are in their original slipcases. Also clean and smart. The edge of the slipcase for Love in a Cold Climate has mildly faded.
