All six books are in top order, with bright, clean pages. The top of the closed page edges are tinted deep red. These have stayed in good condition across the six books. They have never been written in and have no other markings of previous ownership. Unillustrated.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWith cream boards, gilt decoration, deep red title plates and gilt italic titles. The cream boards are also excellent. Just the slightest of bumps to the top of A Tale of Two Cities.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHoused in the original box, with open out flap (see photos). The outside of the box has tanned with time, and there are a few faint dark marks, but nothing too obtrusive.
