With superb colour illustrations by Edmund Dulac. The other fairy tales being Blue Beard, Cinderella plus Beauty and the Beast. Undated but research shows it would have been published in 1927 by Hodder and Stoughton, London. Fairly large in size. The book itself is in very good condition - with some wear to the jacket. More detail below.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInside the pages are clean and tightly bound, with no writing or markings of previous ownership. Some mild tanning to the endpapers. The tinting on the closed top edge has faded a little. Fifteen tipped-in colour plates - all in excellent condition. Has developed a lean over the years.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn the scarce original unclipped dust jacket. Comprising blue card with paste down illustration to the front. Loss to the head of the spine and some splits to the joints. The spine has tanned in comparison to the front and back. A couple of very faint red ink marks near the titles on the front. The jacket has now been protected for the future by the addition of a removable plastic sleeve, and looks very smart.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYour antique copy of Sleeping Beauty etc. will be wrapped with care in tissue and ribbon* and sent well packaged.
