The Poetical Works of William Wordsworth is undated but would have been published in the 1880s by Frederick Warne and Co., London as part of their Lansdowne Poets series. With eight black and white engraved illustrations plus a portrait frontispiece. Condition in detail below.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInside the pages are in very good condition. Has some inscriptions to the blank verso of the portrait frontispiece. Also several pages have some neat underlining (see photos). Illustrated plates are all in top condition. All edges are shiny gilt - the top edge having dulled a little in comparison to the sparkly sides.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn striking bright red cloth over boards with bevelled edges, black and gilt decoration to the front and spine. Has rubbing to the corners and also to the spine ends where there is a little loss to the cloth at the head and tail (see close-up photos). The gilt on the front is shiny bright, having dulled just a bit on the spine.
