The map is printed on a different type of paper to the text and this has heavy tanning. The top edge is gilt. The bottom edge has some pencil markings (see photos). Has an inscription at the top of an early blank endpaper, but no other writing or markings of previous ownership.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBound in olive-green cloth over boards with ornate black and gilt decoration to the front and spine, and bevelled edges. Rubbing to the edges and corners to reveal boards in places. Some light marks and scuffs to the rear board. Rubbing also to the cloth on the spine ends\/joints where there is a little fraying.
