1933 Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass by Lewis Carroll / Macmillan & Co., London / With 92 John Tenniel Illustrations

In excellent condition, here is a vintage copy of Lewis Carroll's two children's stories Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and also Through the Looking-Glass. Published in 1933 by Macmillan & Co., London. Richly illustrated with 92 drawings by John Tenniel.

Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound. Has a couple of small inscriptions on the front free endpaper, but no other writing or markings of previous ownership. Some mild tanning to the endpapers. The outside edges are tinted dark blue.

In dark navy-blue dimpled faux leather with gilt decoration and titles to the front and spine. In top order. The gilt remaining very bright, with just a tiny amount of rubbing on the front. With one small white mark to the top of the spine, but both minor and this is a super edition.
