Condition in detail below.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInside the pages are clean and tightly bound. With spotting to the endpapers, fore-edge and then scattered through the text, (heavy spotting in places) and with a few folded corners. Has an inked-name at the top of an early endpaper in each volume. Lacks three of the original colour illustrations from Volume I, but the remaining seventeen are present as called for across the two volumes. Some of the plates have some folds\/creases. Also has bright colourful illustrated endpapers (see photos). One of the free endpapers has a small tear at the bottom. The top closed edges are tinted green.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOlive-green cloth over boards have elegant gilt titles plus a locket paste down design to the front upper panel. In very good order - clean, tight and square. With some rubbing to the surface green in places. Rubbing also to the corners and spine ends\/joints.
