1910s Tennyson Poems / Collins Clear-Type Press, London / A Beautiful Little Antique Book / Illustrated in Colour / Lovely Decorative Boards

In very good condition, here is a beautiful pocket-sized antique copy of Tennyson's Poems. Undated but would have been published around the 1910s by Collins Clear-Type Press, London. With colour frontispiece and title page, and two colour plates. With gorgeous decorative papered boards. Around pocket-sized (see dimensions below).

Contents: Maud; From The Princess - Sweet and Low, The Splendour Falls, Tears Idle Tears, Home They Brought Her, Ask Me No More; The Grandmother's Apology; The Lady of Shallott; Break Break Break; Song; The Lord of Burleigh; From The Brook; The Miller's Daughter.

Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound, with no writing or other markings of previous ownership. Has light tanning and spotting in the text. In addition to the colour illustrations mentioned above, there are also line drawn chapter headers and footers. All edges are shiny gilt.

Pale-blue papered boards have the delightful Art Nouveau pattern to the front and spine, and gilt titles. Has just a little rubbing around the outside edges and to spine ends. With a few small chips, but minor and this this a really attractive little book.
