Tanning to the endpapers. No inscriptions or markings of previous ownership. A closed tear to the top of a couple of pages (see photos) and a few nicks to the edge of the frontispiece. The text is in double columns, there are two full-page black and white plate illustrations and many more line drawings in the text.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBeautifully bound in dark racing-green cloth over boards with black and gilt decoration to the front and spine, and a blind-stamped decoration to the back. Also in very good order. Has some rubbing to the surface to remove some of the surface green on the back board. A little rubbing also to the cloth on the corners and spine ends\/hinges. A couple of tiny splits to the spine cloth at the head - but minor.
