Has a prize bookplate on the verso of the front free endpaper, dated 1911. No other writing or markings of previous ownership. Has four colour and four black and white illustrations. All edges are shiny gilt. The book has developed a slight lean.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn very attractive lavender-purple cloth backed boards. With gilt and blind-stamped Art Nouveau decoration to the front, and gilt to the spine. The colour on the spine has faded\/tanned a good deal in comparison to the front and back. The gilt remains shiny bright. Has some rubbing and fraying to the cloth at the spine head (see close-up photo).
