1929 Cranford by Elizabeth Gaskell / A & C Black, London / Eight Lovely Colour Illustrations by Sybil Tawse / Charming Vintage Book

In very good condition, here is a charming vintage copy of Elizabeth Gaskell's Cranford. Published in 1929 by A&C Black, London. With eight colour illustrations by Miss Sybil Tawse. 

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound with no writing or markings of previous ownership. With a nick to the bottom edge of two pages near the end of the book. All of the colour plates are present as called for and in super condition.

Blue faux leather boards have shiny gilt decoration to the front and spine. In top order - clean and smart. The only condition point being a small nick to the cloth on the front joint at the head of the spine.
