With inked inscriptions to the versos of the portrait frontispieces, but no other writing or markings of previous ownership. Unillustrated. All edges are shiny gilt.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBound in cream and dark red cloth over boards. Beautifully decorated in a kind of cross between the chinoiserie style, and Art Nouveau. They are absolutely striking.
