Has a portrait frontispiece, decorative title page plus standard text title page. With some staining to the top corners of the first two. In addition there are also eight superb engraved plates (see photos).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn a beautiful fine leather binding. With ornate gilt decoration framing a diamond\/floral pattern in the leather on the front and back. Floral gilt stamped corners. The spine has five raised bands, again with ornate gilt to the compartments and a brown leather title plate. Has some rubbing to the corners and extremities of the spine. Rubbing also, (to remove the surface black), on the top rear edge - and bottom front edge.
