In a fine leather binding, here is an antique copy of Bacon's Essays and Colours of Good and Evil. Published in 1920 by Macmillan & Co., London. In very good condition, please note dimensions below - slightly larger than pocket-sized.

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound. Has an inked inscription on an early blank endpaper dated 1920 but no other writing or markings of previous ownership. The top edge is gilt. Opens onto lovely marbled endpapers.

In a calf-leather binding with marbled papered sides. The spine has five raised bands and shiny gilt titles. Again all in top order, with just a few light scuffs. Does not look at all to be over 100 years old.

Your antique edition of Bacon's Essays will be wrapped with care in tissue and ribbon* and sent well packaged. A gift message can be included in the package if desired.

H 16 cm x W 11 cm, 388 pages, 0.32 kg. I dispatch worldwide daily from the UK. (There are just a very few countries which I am unable to ship to).

* If you would prefer for your book not to be decoratively wrapped and sent simply in the full packaging please add a note to the order.
