Has an inked inscription to the front half-title page, but no other writing or markings of previous ownership. All eight colour plates are present as called for, and all in good condition. They are wonderfully detailed. The frontispiece would have originally had a tissue-guard. The title page has some tanning from where it would have been next to the tissue. Mackenzie also illustrated the endpapers. The top closed edge is tinted green.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOlive-green cloth backed boards have black and white decoration to the front and spine. Again in very good order. Clean and smart. Some tanning to the green on the spine, and also a thin split to the cloth at the head.
