The engraved Illustrations are considered to be Blake's greatest masterpieces in the medium of engraving and were also a rare commercial and critical success for Blake.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis study contains a lengthy series of introductory pieces and then each illustration is reproduced in monochrome with a full and detailed explanation next to it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound. There is some tanning to the endpapers and the occasional spot inside the text. Has a cracked hinge at the beginning, but in no way effecting the binding of the text block which is good and strong. The top edge is gilt.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn pale olive-green cloth covered boards with black and gilt decoration and titles. With a few faint marks to the upper board. Rubbing to the cloth around the extremities. Rubbing to reveal boards beneath at the corners. A little fraying to the cloth on the spine ends, with some small loss.
