This blend of luxury exterior gilding and wonderful illustrations inside brings the pre-industrial, pastoral village of Raveloe to life.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound with no inscriptions or markings of previous ownership. Very slight tanning and spotting to endpapers. Gapes at the gutter in one place (see photos), but in no way effecting the binding of the text block which is good and strong. All edges sparkly bright gilt. A tight, clean and square copy.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDark-green cloth over boards with the elaborate gilt are also in top order. Just a few very faint, light marks near the spine on the back. A tiny bump to the top rear corner. A little rubbing to the spine head - but minor.
