Here is a lovely antique hardback edition of Louisa May Alcott's Little Women and Good Wives. Published by James Nisbet & Co, London. This copy is undated but would have been produced around 1900. A striking and attractive volume, with a few condition points to note, detailed below.

Lacks the blank front free endpaper and so opens directly onto the title page. With tanning to the first couple of pages, and tanning/spotting to the closed outside edges. Has a small nick to the bottom edge of the title page near the margin. Gilt-edged along the top. This is an unillustrated edition.

In striking teal-blue boards with ornate black decoration to the front, and gilt to the spine. In very good order. Just a little rubbing to the corners and spine ends. The gilt is shiny bright and this copy is extremely eye-catching on display.
