The top closed edge is gilt.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn a dark-green\/brown leather binding, with green cloth sides. Again in top order. Just a little rubbing to the leather edges\/corners. The spine has faded just a little, and has rubbing at the head and tail. The gilt titles and raised bands remain shiny bright.
