No inscriptions or markings of previous ownership, apart from a pencil line on the front paste down. The book opens and closes with publisher's adverts to the endpapers. Cracks open at the hinges to reveal webbing and giving the front board a mild wobble, but in no way effecting the binding of the text block which is good and strong. Unillustrated, but with a facsimile manuscript page in Bronte's hand.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBound in the original orange boards with black titles. The black writing has rubbed and is harder to discern in places. Mild rubbing to cloth on the corner tips. Slight bump to top right front corner.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe orange on the spine has dulled in comparison to the boards. Has some rubbing at the head and tail with a few small splits to the cloth - but minor. A crease down the spine and a small split to the cloth on the front joint.
